Aina and John are a Spanish couple who like to travel and Inverness is one of their favourite holiday destinations. When they were deciding where to get married, it wasn’t a difficult choice and Inverness Cathedral was the clear winner for them.
The lovely couple were staying at the beautiful Royal Highland Hotel in the city centre where we took some photographs around the hotel, including on the beautiful staircase with its impressive artwork.
What had started as a dull and damp morning turned into a beautiful sunny day as the couple left the hotel to make their way to the ceremony. At Inverness Cathedral, they were joined by some close family and friends who had made the trip over from Spain to be with them for their special day. The ceremony was intimate and beautiful as Aina and John took their marriage vows in front of the impressive alter.
Having photographs of the day was important to Aina and John so we spent some time around the Cathedral and Ness Islands taking some photographs of the couple and their family and friends. Then we headed off to the banks of Loch Ness for some romantic photographs and to give the couple some time on their own at one of their favourite locations in the Highlands.
The couple then re-joined their guests at The White House in the city centre for a lovely celebration meal and party.
